Hi Michael - you should do your own video - I'd love to see and hear you, too! I have a lot to learn as a newbie, but the process was kind of fun.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I can absolutely say how the Lolita bottle works...pushing straight down...mostly. It's not a perfume I wear often, and the sprayer never fails to annoy me, plus the perfume ends up in my face, in my ear and everywhere I don't want it.
Awww it's so nice to hear your voice!!! My least favorite bottle to spray is A*Men Pure Malt -- it's really, really hard to spray at all and basically impossible to spray with my left hand.
I too love that the SL bottles give you the option of spraying or dabbing and are easy to decant from. More of that please!!
Hi Elisa - it is fun to hear someone's voice - I'd love to hear yours! I can appreciate the interesting visual appeal of some of these weird bottles, but come on, we have to be able to use them, too.
Being a practical girl, I just want a bottle that does what it's supposed to do, as easily as possible. It's all about the juice inside anyway, right?
Hi Taffy - thanks for your kind comments! I'm new at this video thing, so hopefully, I will learn as I go. Sometimes I wonder exactly who designers are making perfume bottles for...do they use some standard hand size to reference or do they even think of that? I'm certain they never think of us with the squatty hands...
Brilliant video, Josephine! You are so right. I wore LL for years, and each time, the bottle drove me nuts. Now I just have a roll-on of LL Midnight, much simpler. And Serge Lutens is the best- a simple, sturdy, portable, classy bottle. How hard can it be to make more of those?
Hi Marla - glad you like the video. I get so annoyed at perfume bottles that are hard to use - and there are a lot of them out there! I'm kind of no frills when it comes to things working like they're supposed to. You're right - how hard can it be? Good to see you!
Hey Josephine! Nice to hear you! Interesting video - I've never thought of doing that myself (and not sure I'd have the guts to) so hats off to you!
ReplyDeleteAfter the 'dicking around' I was wondering if you were going to demonstrate the end result ;-)
