  1. Yay, I love your odes, and I love FT! It reminds me of the pipe tobacco an uncle used to smoke. I love to smell it ON a wool sweater.

  2. I've been googling "Plaster of Paris smell" with no result. Would love to know what it's like :) Not like Play Doh?

  3. Ooh, really good ode, Josephine! I bought a bottle of Fumerie Turque before Christmas and between me and my sisters, a brother-in-law, and a number of friends who've I've decanted it for, the bottle is now almost completely ravaged. Oh how I love it!!!

  4. Hi kjanicki - I love FT, too! Definitely sweet pipe tobacco. It seems to be different every time I wear it, but it always reminds me of a boyfriend I had in high school. Now, I wish I knew what cologne he wore. Didn't love him but he sure smelled good!

  5. Hey Marina, I would describe the smell of Plaster of Paris as slightly sweet, chalky, iris concrete. My husband said 'drywall.' Hope that helps.

  8. Hi Tara - there are no 'woman' or 'man' smells, in my opinion. Most of the perfumes that one would associate as being exclusively for women don't interest me anyway. I can imagine you small amazing in FT. The fact that it walks a gender line makes it that much sexier. Enjoy!
