The rest of it I get... although for me it was Little Bandaid followed by Huge Rose Bouquet and not much else (maybe the White Paint). I rather liked it, but not enough to buy it.
Muse - yes, the ink was quite strong to my nose and the tahini is that slightly nutty/putty quality of AQR.
Flitter - you're right - AQR is probably a bit wacko for your taste. Glad you like the Ode to Aoud, though.
Frida - I think you might actually find this interesting if you ever have a chance to try it. Give it a shot!
kjanicki - if you don't like oud, you may not like this, but it's worth exploring!
To All - Perhaps my ode does not reflect the fact that I love this perfume. Not because it's beautiful, but because it brilliantly reflects everything that is unique, and a little weird, about oud.
Ink? Tahini?

Sounds a bit wacko for my (relatively) conventional taste! Love the idea of an Ode to Aoud, mind... : - )
ReplyDeletewell that's sometimes I'm definitely not going to try!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Haven't tried it. I sort of missed the whole Oudh trend, it's not my favourite note.
